Nara – Todai-ji Visit Nara, the city of deer and temples! We start with Todai-ji and the largest wooden building in the world, the Daibutsuden Hall, which houses one of the largest Buddhas in the world.

Kyลtล Kiyomizu-dera We start the day well with a delicious NATTO (traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans)! (No tasting video sorry… it’s really strange). Then we set off to visit the temples including the famous Kiyomizu-dera which offers a panoramic view of the ancient capital of Japan, Kyoto.

On September 1st, I joined the Barr Gourmet Walk with friends. Great scenery and, more importantly, delicious food at every stop! Alsatian dishes, local wines, and tasty desserts made for an amazing day. A perfect mix of nature and good food.
