Koyasan
Mount Koya. Visit the immense cemetery of Koyasan, there are more than 200,000 tombstones of samurai, under a forest of cedars. Mystical, even magical atmosphere.

Kongobu-ji
Visit Kongobu-ji Temple, located in downtown Koya, and the Banryūtei “Dry Garden”. The name of the Buddhist temple means Diamond Mountain Temple.
