🇮🇹 Milan

Delicious lunch at noon in Milan at the Sardinian Restaurant “Sa Mesa”: seafood platter and raw fish “Gran Crudo”, then homemade Curlugiones with tomato sauce and Parmigiano, then Sardinian dessert “Seadas”.
Then visit the Basilica of Santa Maria de Lourdes in Milan and its giant nativity scene.

It’s Chinese New Year and I’m in Milan’s China Town. The streets are decorated with illuminated red lanterns.
I take the opportunity to try the traditional Chinese street food restaurant “喜姐炸串 fried skewers”, located at 39 Via Paolo Sarpi. Fried skewers are prepared to order, with unusual ingredients, spicy or not.
There is a lot of choice, and I found it very good, the flavors are really authentic, you choose your skewers then your cooking portion, a beeper rings when it’s ready.
I tasted the duck intestine skewers, squid and octopus, Enoki mushrooms and Lotus roots!
Also, there are quite a few nice little original shops to see.

In the middle of Milan’s Chinatown, Via Lomazzo 12, I discover an old deconsecrated church (end of the 18th century) that has been transformed into a Bar since early 2006.
The style is Gothic, the environment and the decorations are unique.

Here, repas at the Restaurant Pentola d’Oro in Sesto San Giovanni.
Also, this is a delicious and spectacular spectacle with the Chef who prepares the “Pennette” in a Meule of Parmesan (Parmigiano Reggiano) (the video goes on!).
And here’s the end, for the suite you can get a “Florentine Steak”!
The restaurant is highly reputed, with some personal names in the same places as Adriano Celentano and Eros Ramazzotti.
