Second day in Milan, I have breakfast, then I go shopping in the Esselunga store next to the hotel, we see beers in the colors of the Italian football clubs (AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus Turin!) (Warning, alcohol is dangerous for your health).
We then take the Metro towards “Piazza Gae Aulenti”, we see many advertisements for the Korean Netflix series Squid Game Season 2 in the Metro, I watched it in one day and honestly, I love it.
We also see a Stand for the Xiaomi car.
Then, it is difficult to find a Restaurant, many are closed during this holiday period (especially Sardinian, Neapolitan, Sicilian Restaurants).
We continue to search and we come across the Trattoria Bistrot Milanese “Alla Cadegra”, I take a local dish “Cotoletta Alla Milanese” and it is simply perfect, plentiful and delicious, with baked potatoes!
I then take the essential Café Espresso then I pass in front of the Inter Milan Headquarters then we pass in front of the large towers of the financial sector of Milan.
Visit the “Piazza Gae Aulenti” square, here it is very modern but beautiful, especially with sunny weather (despite the cold).
There are stands that offer Mulled Wine (Vin brulé in Italian).
There are many shops, restaurants, giant screens with the scores of football matches, Lego towers representing the Plant Towers of Milan, a lake and many skyscrapers.
We continue our visit of Milan, at random. We come across magnificent frescoes like Gucci, Campari buildings, statues and historical monuments, the Metro Moscova, cute little cars, century-old trams, and finally the Bank of Italy.
Now on to the San Siro Stadium, but first I eat my favorite Milanese dish, a Salsiccia con Cipolla e Peperoni in front of the Stadium, then a plate of Pasta alla arrabiata at the Al Meazza Restaurant.
There is nothing to say, the San Siro Stadium is truly legendary and magnificent, AC Milan must stay there forever!
Finally, we attend the Calcio (football) match AC Milan against AS Roma.
We can admire the magnificent cylindrical turrets built in particular during the renovation of the stadium for the 1990 World Cup.
Good atmosphere at the San Siro Stadium, unfortunately no Tifo this time and the final score is 1-1 with a goal from Tijjani Reijnders and an equalizer from Paulo Dybala.
