On December 20th we leave by bus to visit Munich, we arrive early in the afternoon at the Mercure Hotel Muenchen Neuperlach Sud to drop off our stuff, then we go to a local restaurant Der Hufnagel, I have a Schweinaxe, a typical dish of the region, it’s really one of the best I’ve eaten. Then head to the Munich Christmas Market in a FreeNow VTC.
Visit Munichโs main Christmas Market, the one on Marienplatz, a magical place where the illuminations highlight the historic facades and the immense decorated fir tree. The scents of mulled wine, gingerbread, and Bavarian specialties such as Bratwurst.
Bayern Munich ended the year in style with a resounding 5-1 win over Red Bull Leipzig.
Jamal Musiala opened the scoring for the Bavarians in the first minute, followed by an immediate equaliser from Benjamin ล eลกko for Leipzig.
Bayern then rolled on thanks to goals from Konrad Laimer, Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sanรฉ and Alphonso Davies.
This solid performance allowed Bayern to consolidate their position as Bundesliga leaders.
We then witnessed the Bayern Christmas Spectacular, unfortunately cut short due to the events in Magdeburg.
The match is over, we go back to the hotel by Metro, the queue is endless. I take the opportunity to visit Munich by Night before returning to the Mercure Hotel.
