After the Wildpark Karlsbrunn, I continue walking in the Warndt Forest (classified as a Natura 2000 Network on the German side) (it goes uphill) until I have a breathtaking view of the Carrière Barrois, it’s not far.
This former quarry, now a protected natural area, has become a true haven of peace attracting many hikers, nature lovers and photographers.
The view of the Carrière is truly breathtaking! Steep rock formations and cliffs, wooded areas and crystal clear water points, the panorama is truly exceptional.
