Event Discovery of Japanese Culture this Weekend from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 May 2024 at La Syna, 98 Avenue Saint Rémy in Forbach.
I attended the opening today with, among other things, calligraphy workshops, Shamisen music concert, Japanese flute, an Aikido demonstration and a tasting of Japanese culinary specialties: maki, california, vegetable tempura, soups and soups chicken gyoza ravioli, beer Kirin, as well as Matcha and Jasmine tea.
Manga, Origami and Calligraphy drawing workshops will take place on Saturday, as well as Bon-odori Dance Workshops, florist (Ikebana floral arrangement creation), kimono and belt making (Kitsuke) and a Shamisen concert.
On the last day on Sunday, there will be one of the various workshops, a lecture on Haïku, a culinary workshop dedicated to Japanese Bento and Mah Jong board games.
