This afternoon I enjoy (again… it’s really my passion!) a platter of fresh oysters at the restaurant La Voile Bleue, accompanied by a spicy shallot sauce, a real iodized delight.
Then, a grilled fish fillet served with homemade mash and a creamy herb sauce.
As the day draws to a close, nature offers me a grandiose spectacle: a flamboyant sunset sets the sky ablaze, a real living painting.
But an evening in Bray-Dunes would not be perfect without a stop at a typical Friterie du Nord, this time I have a crispy croquette (filled with shrimp) then a “Mitraillette”, an emblematic Flemish/Belgian sandwich garnished with fries and fricadelle.
Bray-Dunes I will come back!
