๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Leffrinckoucke – Fort of the dunes

I am now visiting the “Fort des Dunes” located in Leffrinckoucke, between Bray-Dunes and Dunkirk.
This visit is a dive into the heart of the history of the Fort des Dunes, a place of remembrance of the Second World War.
This structure was part of the Maginot Line and was used during the Battle of Dunkirk.
We can admire the moving reconstruction of life at the time, the corridor full of stories, the impressive architecture, as well as cultural spaces with a bicycle exhibition.
Then, we climb above the fort and we have a unique panorama of the region and the dunes.
More in the next episode.

Second part of the visit of the Historic Monument Fort des Dunes.
I present to you the photos that I took from the top of the building, we have a magnificent view of the region as well as the fort.
I strongly advise you to visit this place if you are passing through the North.
