Visit to the Schlossberg Forest Park in Forbach despite the cold. The paths are covered with moss, we also discover a historical plaque written in German on a stone wall covered with ivy evoking the efforts necessary to draw the precious water from 60 meters deep.
From here we also have magnificent views of the city of Forbach, among the trees.
We also discover the future treetop adventure course, under construction.
This afternoon, after visiting the Schlossberg in Forbach, I go to Wildpark Karlsbrunn in Germany.
I discover a frozen pond surrounded by forest, landscape was calm and relaxing, perfect for a walk in winter.
A small mine cart recalls the industrial history of the region (Moselle and Saar), there is also a stand that offers Currywurst (sausage or fricadelle) with fries and bread, simple, typical and delicious.
