This afternoon I visit the famous Camden Town district, it is a mix between eccentric facades, alternative shops and workers’ houses.
It is a mix of punk, rock and vintage, tattoo and piercing shops, colorful graffiti, atypical restaurants, it is clearly the most original district of London!
I take the opportunity to eat a delicious dish, Asian fried chicken in a street food court set up in colorful containers, where fairy lights and a relaxed atmosphere invite you to linger here.
We also found charming Victorian pubs like “The Oxford Arms” and its unique mix of shops, markets and works of art.
Second part of the visit of Camden Town: Camden Lock!
It is much more than a simple bridge, it is the symbol of the creative and alternative energy of London, the always lively street, where locals, tourists and street food lovers meet.
There is one of the most famous markets of the British capital, and also street food stands, culinary specialties from all over the world.
And then, a little stroll along the canal…

Camden Town, I now visit the iconic Camden market shop, the “Cyberdog”, it is a unique futuristic universe.
As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is huge, music blasting all the time (Gangnam Style when I was there), neon lights, rave party style, captivating techno music and eccentric cyberpunk outfits!
A true temple of alternative fashion, you can find many original fluorescent clothes, high-tech accessories and futuristic gadgets, Pop Culture legends like Pac Man.
Next, you will find the Plaque Hommage to the famous chanteuse Amy Winehouse, originally from London.
